MARK BAIER​

Mark is a Director at Hartwing overseeing overall strategy and growth.  He also supervises several operating entities owned by Hartwing.

Mark has senior management experience with a variety of high profile companies. He was CEO of Clinique La Prairie in Montreux, Switzerland, as well as CEO at Bjets, a private jet venture partnership in Asia between the Briley Group and the TATA Group.

Mark has also been a Director at NetJets and FlightSafety International, both, Berkshire Hathaway companies, as well as a Director at TAG Aviation, part of the TAG Group, former owners of TAG Heuer watches and major shareholders of the McLaren Formula One racing team.

Mark holds a BA in Economics & International Relations from Claremont McKenna College and is a licensed commercial pilot. He has lived in Europe, the US and Asia, and speaks several languages fluently. Professionally he has extensive international business experience.

ALLISON BARBER

Allison is a Director at Hartwing overseeing customer experience and strategy.

Allison also currently supports Hartwing entities AviationManuals and ARC Safety Management, specializing in marketing and business strategy.

Having been in the aviation industry for over 15 years, Allison started in helicopter safety research before moving into training and international operations for airlines and private aviation operators.

She has worked in numerous areas from research, to content development to customer experience. She now works primarily on marketing, communications, and overall business strategy.

With an education in Aviation Management and as a commercial rated pilot her background has helped her to establish a strong foundation in business operations and growth.

MICHAEL HELMICKI

Michael is a Director at Hartwing overseeing key corporate development initiatives including investment and strategic partnership activities.

He is also an executive at one of the largest global law firms where he leverages his global business experience to facilitate the delivery of practical and innovative legal solutions to clients operating across a range of industries including technology, technology-enabled services, healthcare, franchises, venture capital and private equity.

Mr. Helmicki was previously a Managing Director with Briley Group and a General Partner with Corstone Capital where he managed global investment mandates across a range of industries and geographies including the US, Europe, China and Korea. Earlier he was a Partner with Edison Ventures where he focused on growth equity investments in software and technology businesses. Mr. Helmicki has sourced and executed over $250M in direct investments with a track record of success and has managed funds aggregating to over $500M in assets.  Prior to starting his career at Accenture, Mr. Helmicki was a policy analyst and advisor to the Former British Prime Minister, Sir Edward Heath.

Mr. Helmicki has served on the boards of several companies including Jiaxing Stone Wheel Company, NFR Security, Cambridgesoft, Celltrion DBI, Polymera, Avista and Igloo Security. He received his MBA from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University where he was awarded a Kauffman Internship and subsequently served as President of Kellogg’s Washington, DC Alumni Association.”

CLEMENT MEERSSEMAN

Clément is a Director at Hartwing overseeing new product development.

Clément is also currently a Senior Advisor at Hartwing entity AviationManuals, specializing in Partnerships and International Aviation Compliance, Procedures and Safety for the private aviation sector.

Having been in the business aviation industry for over 10 years, Clément has worked on both sides of the Atlantic, starting at one of Europe’s best known aircraft management firms, Global Jet Concept based in Geneva, before moving to Collins Aerospace – ARINC Direct in Maryland where he worked extensively on international operations and management for private aviation operators.

He studied Business and Law in both France and Canada, and is fluent in English and French. His professional and personal international exposure has helped him establish an extensive network of industry relations.”
